Description

Proper treatment of eating disorders begins with a first session that is grounded in the latest diagnostic criteria and therapeutic approaches
Eating disorders, which have always presented unique issues in terms of diagnosis and treatment, are now subject to brand new interpretations with the introduction of the DSM-5. With significant changes to definitions and diagnostic criteria, clinicians must now revisit their standard methods of assessing and treating these clients. Reviewing therapeutic approaches and best practices for these disorders is desirable if the professional wishes to stay current and offer the most effective services.

In this webinar, Dr. Christine Frydenborg Dargon will describe the elements of a holistic plan that considers everything from client belief systems to family pathology. Learn how to properly diagnose eating disorders based on the latest criteria, and then to steer your clients down the path to recovery.
