Using Sign Language with Pediatric Patients gives you the unique ability to understand, teach and communicate with your young preverbal, nonverbal and deaf or hard of hearing clients.

You're eager to help your pediatric client function better and live the best life they can. You might have a list of interventions and strategies in your treatment plan. Every tool is at your disposal.

But what if you can’t communicate with your pediatric client?

You can have every intervention in the world - but they won't work if your client can't communicate with you.

Sign language can bridge that gap - and you don't have to be fluent in it.

ASL can break the communication barrier for conditions like childhood apraxia, autism, Down syndrome, hearing loss and many others. Some of your pediatric clients won’t be able to interact fully without your guidance – but let’s face it, learning a new language can be overwhelming.

The good news is that you only needed a few basic signs for children to fully treat your young clients.

When you sign up today, you'll be able to:

  • Learn key signs in this new language without being overwhelmed.
  • Give your pediatric clients and their family a basic understanding of ASL so they can function better.
  • Make your treatments more effective – and change the futures of your clients.
  • Learn medical signs, colors, numbers, the alphabet, questions, greetings, emotions, songs, food/drink and much more.

When you have a universal method of communication that goes beyond the ability to speak, it opens doors for even your youngest clients. Enroll today to learn a fun, interactive tool you can start using immediately.
