Description

In this hands-on, intensive 2-day workshop, learn to identify common orthopedic problems of the shoulder, hip, and knee and understand the various surgical techniques for repair.  Review the latest surgical techniques, including video analysis of surgical procedures that demonstrate changes before and after intraoperative repair. The post-op rehab implications of these various surgeries will be discussed in hands-on functional rehab labs, where you’ll practice cutting-edge interventions that can be applied in the clinic.

DAY 1 – SHOULDER

Dr. Terry L Rzepkowski, PT, MS, BS, is a licensed doctor of physical therapy with a focus in orthopedics. Throughout his 36-year career, he has specialized in musculoskeletal out-patient rehab as an independent private practitioner in sports medicine and shoulder rehabilitation. This extensive background, and his skill with clinical testing and manual exercise techniques for the shoulder complex, allows him to relate his knowledge of the shoulder patient from prevention strategies through all phases of post-op rehabilitation. A professor in the Health Science department for Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Rzepkowski provides instruction in anatomy, biomechanics, and kinesiology; he has wide-ranging knowledge in the complexities of the shoulder patient. Terry’s current clinical role in Tampa, FL provides a platform for staying abreast of the latest techniques and protocols utilized in joint care rehab. As a sought-after presenter, he enjoys sharing his knowledge of the special testing for shoulder disorders with management of the non-operative, arthroscopic, and total joint patient for shoulder rehabilitation.
