JEFFREY ASHBY, PhD, ABPP, is a board-certified licensed psychologist and professor in the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services at Georgia State University. Currently, he is the Training Director of Georgia State's APA Accredited Counseling Psychology doctoral program, Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology, and Fellow of the American Academy of Counseling Psychology. Dr. Ashby has taught diagnosis and treatment planning for mental health professionals for more than 20 years. During that time, he has created more than 120 presentations at professional conferences and authored/co-authored more than 75 articles in peer-reviewed journals, numerous book chapters, and two books.
