The online course to determine key factors keeping children out of school,

and treatment strategies to successfully reintegrate them

There’s more than one factor affecting a child’s refusal to go to school.

Worrying about alcoholic parents, facing bullies in the hallways, triggering unpleasant memories when they walk by the bathroom – the possibilities are endless. These experiences weighing on their mind can cause anxiety, depression, defiance, phobias and many other reactions resulting in them not wanting to attend school.

Unfortunately, family and school systems tend to misunderstand, react poorly, and reinforce debilitating behavior.

Dr. George Haarman’s inviting you to learn how to expand the frame your clients put themselves in, and develop strategies that get rid of the “one-size-fits-all” approach for every school refusal case you have. Change the linear, cause and effect thinking to include the family, school system, child and more. Acquire new strategies to figure out the issue the child’s facing, and know how to intervene by setting goals and getting the child back to school.

Join us in this innovative online course to get the child in school and back on track to a better future.

George Haarman was extremely knowledgeable, and his stories made the material more understandable. I enjoyed his sense of humor and his willingness to share personal stories and anxieties. Haarman clearly has experience in the field of school refusal behavior as well as a plethora of knowledge.

Matthew Corey

The instructor gave great examples to go with his teachings-his sense of humor and ability to keep people connected was exceptional. I also loved the fact that he gave many examples of techniques that could be used when dealing with school issues instead of voicing the problem without solutions.
