Follow a Best Practices Model When Setting Up a Play Therapy Clinic
As the professional field of play therapy continues to grow, so does the need for clinical settings. The more thoroughly you develop and maintain a business model based on recognized best practices, the more effective your new play therapy clinic will be.
This webinar presents the components of a best practices model for a private play therapy clinic. Participants will have the chance to explore a myriad of factors that go into setting up their own clinic, including professional standards, legal and ethical issues, and funding. Specific aspects of daily operation will also be addressed, including clinic policies and procedures, essential materials, and documentation. The speaker will conclude by outlining advantages and disadvantages of this type of endeavor.
