Behavioral activation is a cognitive-behavioral strategy that helps depressed clients become more actively engaged in their lives. This webinar will provide a step-by-step illustration of behavioral activation techniques. Webinar participants will gain an understanding of the rationale and purpose of behavioral activation, as well as strategies for implementing specific behavioral activation techniques with clients. Webinar participants will also learn about ways to overcome obstacles when implementing behavioral activation and ways to help the client move from a behavioral pattern of avoidance to a behavioral pattern of engagement.
