Description

Don’t invite an audit. Often reporting patterns engage system edits, causing payers and other entities to initiate a review of your process. Not all audits result in negative outcomes; however, many do lead to significant monetary and other costly consequences. Learn strategic methods to reduce your risk, how to know you are being watched and how to lessen the chances for a costly result.

Course will include:

Payer system edits and how to manage your claims

Diagnosis vs. services – does your billing really make sense?

Better documentation habits to avoid discrepancies and/or critical omissions

How to resolve problem claims effectively
