Ethically and legally, clinical supervisors are responsible for patient/client care as well as the training and development of their supervisees. Thus, supervision becomes a balancing act between the two groups. Regardless of the credentials and clinical experience of the supervisor, in order to be competent and effective in the supervisory role, a new set of skills must be developed. This program will strengthen your ethical, clinical judgment and relationship skills by helping you develop the separate knowledge base needed for successful clinical supervision.
