Description

Treatment for Substance Use Disorders Can Be Universally Accessible to All Clients, But Also Personally Meaningful to Each of Them
Providing effective treatment for substance use disorders demands an environment that is accessible to all clients and still honors their own unique journeys. Integrating a client choice paradigm allows the therapist the flexibility to offer options, regardless of a client's background and particular struggles. For clients, selecting and prioritizing choice makes treatment more personally meaningful and thus increases the likelihood of recovery.

In this webinar, Dr. Clare Steffen will merge elements of Universal Design and her own work in Cognitions of Choice© to show you how to develop a choice–based treatment protocol. If you are looking for tools to potentially reach a broader range of clients and facilitate real change in their lives, this webinar is for you.
