Description

Anxiety disorders undergo significant changes in the DSM-5.
Among the daunting challenges that professionals face when working with the 5th edition of the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), there is a significant change to the way in which anxiety disorders are categorized. Gaining a firm footing on what has changed, and why, is essential for providing quality services to your clients, as well as ensuring proper reimbursement from insurance companies.
Join Dr. Kenneth Carter, a respected authority on the DSM-5, as he guides you through the new diagnostic criteria that necessitated Anxiety Disorders and Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders becoming two distinct categories.
