Description

DSM-5® Contains Many Updates to Trauma & Stressor-Related Disorders
In 2013, the American Psychiatric Association published its fifth and latest edition of The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. The newest DSM® is considered a major overhaul from previous editions, with many updates in the area of trauma and stressor-related disorders.

In this webinar, learn how the human experience of trauma and its aftereffects may present in clinical settings, and consider how these experiences are now described in the DSM-5®. Discuss some criticisms of the DSM-5®, issued by leaders in the field of traumatic stress studies. Trauma author, educator, and clinician, Dr. Jamie Marich, is widely known for presenting complex clinical concepts in understandable language that is relevant to your clinical settings.
