Understanding and Treating Compulsive Sexual Behavior
Internet porn, extramarital affairs, XXX videos, adult book shops, prostitution, sexual chat rooms—a growing number of people are finding themselves caught up in destructive sexual behaviors. They are desperately trying to control these behaviors, but are unable to break free. These struggles are some of the most misunderstood and deeply hidden problems in peoples' lives and translate into tremendous emotional and social loss for themselves and loved ones.
In this timely, one-day seminar, attendees will learn the skills they need to assess and treat compulsive sexual behaviors, including managing the Internet, identifying the seven motivators of destructive sex, assessment tools and specific strategies for prevention, crisis management, and restoration. With a creative multimedia presentation, participants will acquire a common sense understanding of destructive sexual behaviors, sound counsel, and practical interventions to use with their clients.
