Description
Angry, aggressive children and adolescents are at risk of becoming angry, aggressive adults
Entrenched anger-fueled behavior, or reactive aggression, is rarely controlled by normal parental or teacher discipline strategies. If untreated or treated inadequately, this behavior places children and teens at risk for a host of significant problems at home, school, and in the community. Additionally, it can lead to intimate relationship problems later in life. This webinar will introduce attendees to the research in risk factors of reactive aggression and its course of development by providing an evidence-based roadmap to successful treatment in a cognitive-behavioral framework. A session-by-session model treatment program will be described and numerous evidence-supported resources will be identified and discussed.
