ANDREA LEGATT CARVIN, OTR/L, PLC, CGF, has been an Occupational Therapist for over 30 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from SUNY at Downstate Medical Center. She started her career at Robert Wood Johnson Rehabilitation Hospital in Edison, NJ. Life has taken Ms. Carvin in many directions and she has worked in almost all areas of healthcare, along with private award winning high-tech businesses. In addition to her medical experience, she has trained at Coach for Life, Yoga for the Special Needs Child, and has been certified in Health Cost Management, and the Inspired Learning Model of Group Facilitation. As an author and speaker, she has presented at multiple state conferences and symposiums at the collegiate and continuing education levels, as well as to Fortune 100 companies. She has also facilitated at Chamber of Commerce workshops and at many private client businesses.
In business and healthcare, Ms. Carvin receives inspiration from sound business and organizational practices combined with wisdoms of mind, body, and spirit. She loves to share her experiences and successes in her writings, recordings, speaking engagements, and workshops as well as with her patients and clients. Ms. Carvin is the author of Creating Synergy: The Keys to Leadership Success and Perseverance of Dreams Journaling Log, and has also produced a recorded meditation CD, "Take a 12-Minute Vacation Every Day."
