James M. Greenblatt, M.

JAMES M. GREENBLATT, M.D., is a dually board-certified child and adult psychiatrist with over 20 years of clinical practice experience. As a pioneer in integrative medicine, his seminars and books have helped clinicians and patients understand individualized, holistic treatment plans and the scientific evidence for nutritional interventions in mental illness. Dr. Greenblatt is the founder and medical director of Comprehensive Psychiatric Resources, an integrative psychiatric practice near Boston. In his work to improve patient outcomes, Dr. Greenblatt combines traditional treatment options with novel, safe therapies, including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and referenced-EEG (rEEG). His newly published books, Answers to Anorexia and The Breakthrough Depression Solution, incorporate his two decades of clinical experience and expertise, outlining the use of complementary therapies for the effective treatment of these debilitating disorders. In addition, Dr. Greenblatt shares his innovative approaches as a featured bi-weekly guest on the Patricia Raskin Positive Living™ radio show on 630 WPRO/AM and 99.7/FM in Providence, Rhode Island, and as an assistant clinical professor at Tufts Medical School.

Dr. Greenblatt received his medical degree in 1985 from George Washington School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency in 1988 from George Washington University Medical Center. He then went on to complete a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Medical School in 1990.
