Joe Law, Ed.D., LPC, Licensed Psychologi


Joe Law, Ed.D., LPC, Licensed Psychologist, is an Army veteran of Vietnam who has also served as a Veterans Administration Psychologist and college professor. He was an early pioneer in research and treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as he developed outpatient counseling centers for Vietnam veterans. Dr. Law also developed in-patient treatment protocols for the VA to provide intensive care for combat veterans. He has lectured and written widely on the topic and is currently a consultant to the VA. Dr. Law is a Licensed Psychologist and Health Service Provider as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor. While completing an APA-approved internship with the VA Medical Center in Tuskegee, Alabama, he established an in-patient treatment program for PTSD treatment. He helped establish model inter-disciplinary treatment programs in veterans hospitals throughout the country and was invited to lecture at the Russian Academies of Science on the topic following Soviet defeat in Afghanistan in the 1980s.
