Lorraine O'neill, PT, DScPT, W


LORRAINE O'NEILL, PT, DScPT, WCS, is a Physical Therapist and Board Certified Women's Health Clinical Specialist with over 30 years of experience. She focuses on setting functional goals and helping her clients establish life-long exercise programs individualized for their specific needs. Dr. O'Neill has been teaching continuing education courses for 12 years at the regional and national level. Her interest in women's health issues began in 1992 while pursuing continuing education on the subject of incontinence and has expanded into a range of other areas since that time. In addition to teaching evidence-based treatment of osteoporosis, Dr. O'Neill also provides courses on therapeutic intervention for fibromyalgia and urinary incontinence.

Dr. O'Neill completed her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1979 at Russell Sage College/Albany Medical School. In 2006, she earned a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland-Baltimore, graduating Phi Kappa Phi. Her final project was developing an evidence-based program for the treatment of osteoporosis. She is the owner of O'Neill Physical Therapy in Hagerstown, Maryland, where she follows a treatment philosophy that is both evidence-based and holistic.
