Martha Teater, LPC, LMFT, NCC,
MARTHA TEATER, LPC, LMFT, NCC, is a seasoned disaster volunteer and mental health professional with over twenty years of experience providing mental health services. Martha has been deployed to several national disasters including hurricanes Katrina, Gustav, and Irene, and the May 2011 tornadoes in Tennessee. She is a manager with the American Red Cross and leads live disaster simulations with the North Carolina Psychological Association Disaster Response Network. In addition to her work with disaster mental health, Martha maintains a private practice with a focus on marriage and family therapy, substance abuse, and workplace crisis response.
