Mary Asper

MS, CCC-SLP


Mary B. Asper, MS, CCC-SLP, has over 40 years experience working with children, adults, families, and educators in many different capacities. Ms. Asper received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and her Master’s degree from the University of Vermont. She is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, is a member of the Vermont Speech-Language Hearing Association Board of Directors, and a former member of the Vermont Autism Task Force. For the last 10 years her focus has been diagnosis and treatment of speech-language, social communication, and neuro-developmental disorders. As founder and President of Codding Hollow Associates, Inc., Ms. Asper directs a trans-disciplinary team (including speech-language pathologists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and special education teachers) to assess and develop academic, behavioral, and social programming for students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other severe communication disorders. Through her work in the schools, she trains para-educators, special educators, classroom teachers, administrators, speech-language pathologists, and speech-language assistants in current evidence-based practice and techniques. She brings the perspective of close work with other professionals, and years of successful intervention for students with severe language, behavioral, physical, and social challenges.
