Trisha Farmer, COTA/L
TRISHA FARMER, COTA/L, is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who is passionate about her work as a therapist and an educator. She has an extensive background in the acute care arena, specifically working with a nationally recognized stroke center and regional burn center with her hospital system practice focused on complex stroke and trauma cases. She graduated from Lewis and Clark Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in the field of Occupational Therapy. She regularly attends conferences and workshops, in order to stay abreast of the latest evidence-based practices, resulting in the implementation of the most up-to-date and motivating treatment plans available. In addition, Ms. Farmer serves as both a clinical instructor and an educator at Memorial Medical Center and in the Central Illinois region, and she also serves on the Educational Board with Memorial Health System.
